"When I first came to the Pines I had wonderful care. The rehab went smooth and everyone thinks I'm doing exceptionally well. I would recommend The Pines at Rutland to anyone who needs rehab."
“Only God knows how much you have done for us. There is no way to thank you enough.”
I chose to go to The Pines at Rutland Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation based on recommendations and from a previous experience. The Pines at Rutland was first recommended to me by a few friends as well as by my close friend, Cindy. After my first experience here, I chose to return after learning that I needed to have my second surgery. Everyone at this facility is phenomenal. In particular, the nursing staff as well as the occupational and physical therapy staff are outstanding. Everyone that helps out at The Pines at Rutland is extremely friendly and the cooperation among the staff and patient care is impressive. I would recommend The Pines at Rutland to anyone looking for care and rehabilitation after surgery!
"The Pines of Rutland, VT feels more like a resort than a rehab center. The therapy is excellent. The helpers go the extra mile. Meals are attractive and taste great. You’ll find an encouraging, positive feeling here."
I am finalizing my second visit to The Pines after having two different knee operations. The staff for physical therapy were positive in their work. Very attentive to the patients, paying attention to aches and pains and always striving to get the patient independent and working to be healthy again. The machines in the therapy are up to date and modern. Every visit to therapy was something new to help gain the strength to have a full life. The dietary department is state of the art. The meals offered are very appetizing and always delivered hot and fresh. Always there when needed, comforting and caring about their patients. The LNA’s were also showing professionalism and caring, always careful in answering the bells but the care and compassion given by them goes above and beyond. All the staff at The Pines are above the normal realm of health care and I appreciate each and every one of them. I will be sending this to the department of Veterans Affairs to provide them with a synopsis of my stay at The Pines and my recommendation to have them utilize The Pines at Rutland as first in line for Veterans’ care.
"I have found the Pines of Rutland to be a wonderful place for rehabilitation. The nursing staff, physical therapy, and aides are all excellent. The center is bright and welcoming; I would highly recommend it to anyone."
